The large dark headstone in the photo at the lower left-with the smaller headstones around it, are the Bulls. Well, some of the Bulls; they have two sections. This seems to be the second and third generation Bulls. I took photos of all the markers as I am currently researching Carrie Bull and her mother, Yetta Galinger–and Carrie’s children–Yetta, Minnie, Francis, Mary–I think that is all, but I may have missed one or two–there was one that was apparently stillborn as the marker just says ‘Baby”.
The Bulls have been around forever–in white man’s terms, at least.
I don’t know if I really have any stories about them though (hint for anyone that reads this blog, as I am going to start the local genealogy blog someday, Damn it).
