That was a fun excursion into the past.
Is there a date on this photo? My guess is it’s before the fire of 1911, after which the Volunteer Fire Department was formed. The Odd Fellows Hall, which Dell’Arte now occupies, is on H Street and was built in 1912.
I’m afraid I don’t have a date. I would love to get a timeline for when utilities were introduced into the different communities here because that would help me date the photos…
